Overview

Salary £25,185- £25,989 per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | Pro Rata
Location: Helmshore Mills, Rossendale

Lancashire County Council is looking for a Museum Business Support Officer to join its Museum Service, working as part of the team at Helmshore Mills, a unique museum and industrial heritage site in Rossendale.

Responsibilities
  • Provide key administrative, clerical, and financial support for the day-to-day operation of Helmshore Mills, including cashing up, banking and processing orders for shop and café stock and equipment.
  • Input financial and management information as required; use higher level text processing, spreadsheet and IT skills.
  • Provide accurate general advice and guidance to the public, colleagues and the Friends.
  • Administer group bookings and events; liaise with the Heritage Learning Team over school bookings.
  • Support front of house operations which can include opening and closing the site, operating the till, dealing with visitors, and assisting with events and promotion.
Details

This is a permanent post based at Helmshore Mills. The hours are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
