Location: Bamber Bridge, Lancashire South Ribble, Lancashire. Salary: £25,185-£25,989 per year. Status: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week).

Job Description

Integrated Transport Services Lancashire County Council are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Administrative Assistant to support the Transport Business Support Team. You will work to the Transport Administration Manager as part of a county-wide team, supporting Service Delivery operations in our transport and fleet services teams. The role may involve hybrid working.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Transport Business Support Team and Service Delivery operations.
  • Assist with processing, data entry and use of IT systems including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and new specialist software.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other service areas and colleagues.
Knowledge and Experience

We are looking for a suitably qualified person with a good standard of education and able to demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and people skills (friendly, considerate, patient, empathy). Experience with IT systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and willingness to learn new specialist software.

Communication

Excellent communicator with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a wider team.
