A local authority consultancy is seeking an Administrator for Town Planning in Morden. This role involves providing administrative and technical support to Planning Officers and Building Control Surveyors. In order to apply for this role you will have great customer service and admin skills and ideally previous experience working within a local authority town planning or property team.
We are seeking an Administrator/ Business Support Officer for approximately 6 months.
This role sits in the newly formed Place Administration Hub which provide business support across a variety of services within the Environment Civic Pride & Climate and Housing and Sustainable Development Departments.
You will be working as part of a team the post holder will be required to provide business and technical support to Planning Officers, Building Control Surveyors and Highways Inspectors and provide a wide range of front-line services to the public. Knowledge of these services is highly desirable with a strong commitment to working across a multi-discipline team.
You will have excellent customer care skills together with good written and numeracy ability will be essential as well as experience in using a variety of IT systems including MS Office Software, Planning systems and Highway asset systems.
