Pay Rate: £19.46 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Contract length: This opening assignment is for 6 months

Location and postcode: Morden, SM4 5DX

Office based only

In order to apply for this role you will have great customer service and admin skills and ideally previous experience working within a local authority town planning or property team.

The role:

We are seeking an Administrator/ Business Support Officer for approximately 6 months.

This role sits in the newly formed Place Administration Hub which provide business support across a variety of services within the Environment Civic Pride & Climate and Housing and Sustainable Development Departments.

You will be working as part of a team the post holder will be required to provide business and technical support to Planning Officers, Building Control Surveyors and Highways Inspectors and provide a wide range of front-line services to the public. Knowledge of these services is highly desirable with a strong commitment to working across a multi-discipline team.

You will have excellent customer care skills together with good written and numeracy ability will be essential as well as experience in using a variety of IT systems including MS Office Software, Planning systems and Highway asset systems.
