Business Support Officer

Salary £28,350 per annum

About the Role

As a Business Support Officer, The primary reporting line will be thee General Manager , however, the role includes a close working relationship with the, Supervisors, Administrators.

  • To ensure best practice for the control and audit of van stocks, fleet arrangements, plant, all working at height activity and waste disposal.
  • Office Based and Health & Safety compliance administration
  • Supporting onboarding and induction of new employees
  • Setting up operatives Toolbox talks ensuring this is out in their diaries
  • Support Health & Safety training ensuring this is completed
  • Scanning and saving compliance documents
  • Ordering Office Supplies and uniform
Role Criteria
  • Working in an Office experience
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines in busy office environment
  • Experience of handling multiple tasks in a high volume, sometimes challenging environment
  • Good Organisational skills
  • Good Time Keeping
  • Good Written and verbal communication

All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.

Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
