Business Support Executive

Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working with a highly esteemed organisation who is seeking a Business Support Executive to join their small, dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to play a key role in the smooth running of the office, providing high-level administrative and executive support while also contributing to wider projects that make a positive impact.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the efficient running of office operations, systems and procedures.
  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries by phone, email and in person.
  • Provide diary management and executive support to the Chief Executive, including meeting preparation, note-taking and follow-up actions.
  • Manage financial administration including debtor tracking, credit control and reporting.
  • Coordinate board and committee meetings, ensuring timely preparation of agendas, papers and minutes.
  • Maintain HR and governance records, supporting compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
  • Support the planning and delivery of projects, campaigns and events, liaising with suppliers and stakeholders as needed.
  • Oversee the accuracy of CRM and data systems to support reporting and communications.
  • Assist with stakeholder engagement, newsletters and distribution of updates.
Experience required
  • Our client is looking for a confident and detail-focused professional with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A degree (or equivalent qualification) in business, administration, finance or a related area.
  • Previous experience in office management, administration or business support.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership with executive-level administration.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and strong IT skills (Microsoft Office essential).
  • Experience in financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of governance and GDPR compliance.
  • Proactive and independent working style with high attention to detail.
