An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business Services Team for a committed and flexible individual to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Adult Social Care teams in the High Peak and North Dales area based at County Hall Matlock.

You will be joining a friendly team of experienced Business Services Assistants. The role is varied, fast‑paced, and the ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Support local social care teams, including note taking at a variety of meetings.
  • Liaise within internal and external clients and professionals.
  • Utilise the internal client system and provide general IT support to colleagues.
  • Perform financial tasks such as petty cash, debit card holder and using internal financial systems following set financial guidance.
Qualifications
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft packages.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, undertaking a wide range of administrative duties.
  • Experience working in a busy office environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret information and analyse data.
  • Assisting and supporting with streamlining processes and implementation.
  • Understanding of confidentiality, GDPR and Data Protection.
  • Previous financial experience would be beneficial.
  • Enthusiasm and transferable skills.
