Business Sales Consultant

We are looking to appoint a full‑time Business Sales Consultant

Job Purpose / Aims

To sell the recruitment and training services offered by the College to employers and achieve agreed volume and revenue targets.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell the College's full range of services—including recruitment, apprenticeships, work experience, and training—to achieve agreed monthly sales revenue targets.
  • Manage relationships with large employers as required, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct sector research within the allocated sector to identify new business opportunities, with flexibility to explore other sectors as needed.
  • Generate sales leads through diverse channels, including face‑to‑face meetings, telesales, conferences, and networking events.
  • Convert leads by accurately assessing employer recruitment and training needs, and presenting tailored proposals and solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Faculties, the Employer Engagement Team, Work Experience Team, and the wider College to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery of services.
  • Maintain accurate records in the College's Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and Business Services Performance Tracker.
  • Provide weekly progress reports to demonstrate performance against agreed targets.
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role and level of responsibility as required.
