Job summary

A leading social enterprise in community support is looking for a Business Operations Manager to oversee retail and reuse operations in Rhymney, Caerphilly, and Bridgend. The candidate will lead a busy team, manage stock and logistics, and drive growth, aiming to meet ambitious targets. Strong leadership, management, and retail skills are essential. Business Operations Manager (Retail and Reuse)
37 hours (flexibility required)
Salary £30,000
Based in Rhymney, Caerphilly and Bridgend with travel

Responsibilities
  • Seek out and deliver new opportunities for growth for the social enterprise.
  • Grow the enterprise and manage a busy team of staff, volunteers and placements.
  • Manage stock, sales and logistics for collections and deliveries.
  • Set and meet ambitious targets.
Qualifications / Experience
  • Target driven with strong leadership, management, retail and commercial skills.
  • Drive to succeed with experience of managing a team.
  • Proven experience of driving business and profit improvement.
  • Candidate will have a good track record of managing social or private sector retail enterprise activity.

The role is both demanding and rewarding, working for a social enterprise within a leading regeneration charity.
