A leading transportation firm is seeking a Business and Operations Manager to oversee operational and customer service functions at their Immingham Dock site. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a relevant role, demonstrating a customer service mindset and excellent problem-solving abilities. Be part of the movement - and play your part.Working Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, you’ll be leading and developing both the operational and customer service functions at our Immingham Dock site, with full ownership of performance, service delivery, and commercial outcomes.
You will be responsible for:
You’ll work closely with internal commercial and operational stakeholders to ensure SLAs are consistently met and exceeded.
You’ll bring at least 3 years’ experience in a customer service or operational role within a warehousing and transport environment. A qualification in logistics, supply chain, customer service, or forwarding would be advantageous.
You’ll be self‑motivated, organised, and detail‑focused, with a strong customer‑service mindset and a flexible, adaptable approach. Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment, you’ll use your initiative to solve problems, drive improvements, and build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.
