The role of the Business Development Manager

Plumbing & Heating Systems will involve :

  • Business Development Manager position dealing with a range of underfloor heating systems sold into main contractors, plumbing contractors, mechanical contractors and house builders.
  • Achieving new business sales targets by building and managing a strong, right-sized pipeline
  • Proactively generating new opportunities through structured prospecting and face-to-face appointments
  • Owning the full sales cycle from lead generation to on boarding and order handover
  • Maximising customer spend through value-based selling, upsell / cross-sell, and collaboration with Key Account Managers
  • Act as a trusted product expert and brand ambassador, delivering excellent customer service and continuous self-improvement
The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager Plumbing & Heating Systems with :
  • Must have 2+ years experience in business development or a similar sales role
  • Must have experience within a underfloor heating systems and / or experience selling into main contractors, plumbing contractors, mechanical contractors and house builders
  • Strong lead generation and prospecting skills, with good commercial and numerical awareness
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), personable, professional, and articulate
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong time management and teamwork skills
