Business Development Manager - FMCG

Location : Kensington Hybrid ( Onsite 3 days per week , wfh 2 days )

Salary £45k - £65k + Commission

Overview

We are hiring a Business Development Manager to focus exclusively on new business acquisition within the FMCG sector. This role will target well-known consumer goods brands, selling a SaaS, data-led solution that enables better commercial, marketing, and performance decisions.

This is a pure hunter role suited to someone with experience opening doors in FMCG and winning complex, high-value deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive net-new business across the FMCG landscape

  • Prospect and engage consumer goods brands across food, beverage, and personal care

  • Sell a data and insight-focused SaaS solution into commercial, category, and digital teams

  • Build and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline

  • Lead discovery sessions to understand commercial challenges and data needs

  • Own the sales process from first contact through to close

  • Deliver against new business targets

Required Experience
  • Experience in a new business / hunter sales role (BDM or Account Executive)

  • Proven success selling SaaS, software, or data platforms

  • Experience selling into FMCG / CPG brands

  • Strong outbound sales and pipeline generation capability

  • Comfortable selling to senior stakeholders and decision-makers

Desirable Experience
  • Experience selling analytics, BI, insight, or data-led solutions

  • Understanding of FMCG commercial models, category management, or consumer insights
