EV Charging Sales Specialist

South Yorkshire and surrounding areas

£45,000 basic (flexible for the right person) + Bonus + Pool Car for client visits

A highly successful, fast-growing organisation in the sustainability and energy technology space is expanding its EV Charging division and is now seeking an experienced EV Charging Sales Specialist to drive new business across South Yorkshire and the surrounding region.

This is a role for a self-starter - someone who brings market knowledge, contacts, and the ability to hit the ground running in a competitive and rapidly growing sector.

What You'll Be Doing
  • SellingEV charging solutions to:
    • Car dealerships
    • Garages & service centres
    • Independent businesses
    • Business parks & industrial estates
    • Soft play centres, trampoline parks & leisure venues
    • Domestic and small commercial clients
  • Identifying cross-sell opportunities: CCTV, energy solutions.
  • Building relationships with neighbouring businesses that may not know what services are available.
  • Creating weekly plans: which areas you will target, who you will visit, and how you will build your pipeline.
  • Field-based role with daily meeting activity and proactive lead generation.
  • Working inbound leads from the marketing team where required - though this role is primarily outbound and business-development focused.
  • Reviewing service and process improvements to help refine and grow this new division.
  • Mapping the region and ensuring full postcode coverage.
About You
  • Proven experience selling EV charging installations.
  • Strong network of contacts and the ability to open doors and close leads.
  • Confident developing a territory from scratch.
  • Knowledge of relevant government EV and energy grants (desirable).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable shaping targets, driving growth and influencing strategy.
  • Able to work independently without micromanagement.
  • Local to Sheffield / Rotherham area
