Business Development Manager (Developmental) – Asset Based Lending London / South East

Our client, one of the UK’s leading providers of Asset Based Lending Solutions requires a Business Development Manager to join their growing team in London and the South-East.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist in proactively seeking and developing new clients and revenue for the company and effectively helping to convert business lending opportunities, specifically Asset Based Lending.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining an extensive network of introductory sources including Private Equity Houses, Banks, Accountants and Corporate Finance providers throughout the region.

You will display an exceptional work ethic, with the ability to work alone whilst being a team player. You will be a proven, tenacious, independent individual who is self-motivated and able to develop yourself in a challenging and high performing business sales environment.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience working in a sales related environment, ideally within Invoice Finance/ABL or any related sector. Furthermore, you must possess competent numerical and literacy skills including the ability to understand and interpret financial accounts.

This role would ideally suit a salesperson currently performing to a high level within receivables finance sales looking for the next step into transacting larger more complex deals. Similarly applications are welcomed from those currently working within Asset Based Lending in an operation capacity, hungry to challenge themselves in a sales related environment.
