Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth across our B2B services. You will identify and win new business, build long-term client relationships, and collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Freight forwarding experience is an advantage, but strong B2B sales experience in professional or service‑led environments is the priority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and develop new business opportunities across target sectors.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract close.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop tailored value propositions and proposals aligned with client needs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline reports and forecasts.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Support the creation of marketing and sales collateral for business development campaigns.
About You
  • Proven track record in B2B sales or business development (logistics, transport, supply chain or related services preferred).
  • Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Confident engaging C‑level stakeholders and decision‑makers.
  • Target‑driven, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Freight forwarding or logistics knowledge advantageous but not essential.
  • Comfortable with data analysis, forecasting, and market insights.
  • UK‑based with the ability to travel to clients and events as needed.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
