Business Development Manager opportunity with a leading global insurance broker. The role focuses on differentiating the broker in the marketplace by delivering expert risk management guidance, with a relationship-driven, team-oriented sales approach.

Responsibilities
  • Develop business across a wide range of industry sectors in the mid-market arena.
  • Provide expert risk management advice to key clients and design bespoke programmes.
  • Engage with potential clients through a defined prospect list focused on £25k+ fee income opportunities.
  • Build relationships and engage with CFO/FD/CEO level executives on business matters, leveraging thought leadership to support conversations.
  • Present to C-Suite audiences, articulating clear and concise risk management strategy and expertise.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Ability to present to C-Suite level and communicate risk management concepts clearly.
  • Comfort with a team-based sales approach and relationship-building, rather than solely transactional selling.
  • Experience developing business across multiple industry sectors in the mid-market segment.
  • Proven track record in risk management advisory or related insurance roles is desirable.
