Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager, located in Clacton-On-Sea with some opportunities to work from home. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, conducting market research, and creating strategic business plans. The role also involves collaborating with various teams to achieve sales targets and drive company growth.

Qualifications
  • Pivotal role to deliver sales growth within the B2B area, focus will be on forging new relationships rather than developing existing.
  • Drive national sales for all areas of B2B (ECO EDF, ECO Direct, Warmer Homes, LA and Developer) to develop appropriate pipeline to achieve sales and installs targets
  • Ensure tender responses are competitive, perform continual reviews to improve and adjust submissions as required to secure sales.
  • Define B2B marketing requirements to deliver against sales targets and ensure campaigns are appropriate and within budget.
  • Ensure event / forum opportunities are maximised to drive sales pipeline
  • Exploit innovation and product opportunities to grow existing business and develop new sales opportunities
  • Work with other sales areas within the business to ensure a consistent approach and develop shared opportunities and avoid duplication of effort
  • Develop a strategy and plan to deliver contracts/leads
  • Produce meaningful MI that represents Sales Funnel, conversion rates, Risks and Issues
