The Opportunity

An opportunity now exists for an experienced Business Development Manager to continue to grow and expand their Northern UK territory which has seen significant expansion during the last decade and more. Reporting to the Sales Director, the role will involve the day‑to‑day management and development of existing accounts.

Personal Profile

The candidate must have a very strong track record of growing sales in a B2B commodity market while being able to demonstrate strong people skills.

Required Experience

Required Experience

Sector experience in the pressure sensitive market is essential for this role.

The candidate needs to be a self‑motivated results‑oriented individual with a positive outlook who is comfortable working on their own, but just as comfortable working within a team.

An ability to plan ahead and be well organised is essential, the candidate must also be mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with people at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital as well as being at all times well‑presented and business‑like.

Ideally the candidate will be professionally trained in all aspects of sales development and relationship selling.

The candidate must also understand the basic principles of marketing, including market sector targeting, product offer development and features‑benefits‑solutions selling in addition to excellent IT / Communication skills.
