About the role

contact SPACE is a specialist global supplier of SaaS contact centre solution enhancements for Twilio and AWS Connect platforms. We help customers by developing and delivering innovative leading‑edge solutions that are simple to implement and use, cost‑effective, functionally rich and scalable, and operate natively with Twilio or AWS platforms. We are growing our sales team with a role for a Pre‑Sales Solution Consultant.

In this role you will be responsible for presenting our product offerings with a focus on business processes, value proposition, and architecture, in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in our solutions and technology infrastructure, and removing all technical objections in the sales cycle. You will work closely with the sales team to deliver the appropriate technical solution and value proposition, and you will be customer‑focused, delivering deep contact centre process and product knowledge across all contact SPACE product offerings.

Job responsibilities
  • Understand the customer processes, challenges and complexity of today's contact centres, customer service and inside sales functions.
  • Understand the customer need and establish our product as the best solution that addresses that need.
  • Assist in effectively responding to any detailed questions in the sales process and any formal response process.
  • Manage discussions with various levels of technical and functional audiences.
  • Determine and define system requirements and recommend application architecture, including possible integration to CRM, ERP, and other third‑party solutions.
  • Storyboard and assist in the build/configuration of customised product demonstrations to support customer use cases.
  • Present contact SPACE technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with the prospect's hardware, software, networking and security stack investments.
Required skills & experience
  • Deep understanding of contact centres and related business processes and functions.
  • Solution selling discovery skills.
  • Ability to multi‑task, work in a demanding team environment, understand and be responsive to customer needs, work under tight deadlines, and work independently, with willingness to take ownership of problems.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the software sales cycle.
  • Previous experience as a pre‑Sales Engineer or consultant for a software vendor, consultancy, or similar technology or contact centre related technology.
  • Ability to be flexible for travel needs of the business.
  • Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology.
