Sales & Business Development Lead

£30,000-£34,000 base + Uncapped Commission (OTE £40,000-£50,000)

We are a company that specialise in making events taste great. We connect companies and event planners with the UK's best mobile food trucks and bars — delivering standout catering experiences for weddings, corporate & large scale events.

We've worked with a number of clients including the European Tour and the University of Glasgow, and we're scaling rapidly across the UK.

As our first dedicated sales hire, this is your chance to shape the sales function from the ground up and be part of a fast-growing start-up that champions small businesses and celebrates incredible food experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Drive new business growth and outbound sales across the UK.
  • Focus on prospecting, cold calling, building pipelines, and closing deals.
  • Work directly with the founder to refine the sales playbook, streamline processes, and grow revenue as we expand nationally.
  • Contribute to shaping a growing start-up during an exciting expansion phase.
  • Provide input for a supportive environment with room for personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record in B2B new business development (3+ years).
  • Experience identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and managing client accounts.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a history of successful contract negotiations and vendor management.
  • Confident with cold calling and outbound prospecting.
  • Consistent history of hitting or exceeding ambitious sales targets.
  • Skilled in communication, negotiation, and objection handling.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems (HubSpot experience a bonus).
  • Highly motivated, tenacious, and target-driven.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing tools (preferred but not essential).
Compensation & Perks
  • Base Salary: £30,000-£34,000 (Dependent on Experience)
  • Tired Commission with OTE: £40,000-£50,000+ (base + commission)
  • Hybrid Working: 2-3 WFH days per week
