Business Development Manager

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 dependent on experience

OTE: Uncapped OTE expected up to £120,000 + Private Medical + Car Allowance + Paid Door to Door

Location: Whole UK (Hybrid - commutable to Littlehampton desirable)

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join an expanding business as a Business Development Manager. This market leading to-manufacture specialist castings supplied into the automotive, aerospace and defence sectors. The Business Development Manager will join a rapidly growing, financially secure manufacturer that delivers full in-house design, casting, machining, finishing and assembly services, giving the Business Development Manager access to cutting‑edge manufacturing capability and premium global clients.

Skills required for the Business Development Manager:
  • The Business Development Manager must have proven experience in new business development within engineering or manufacturing sectors
  • The sales will be focused on new business so strong experience selling technical or engineered products, ideally within casting, metals, defence, automotive or aerospace markets
  • The Business Development Manager must be able to manage long sales cycles including prototype, bid and project‑based selling
  • The Business Development Manager must be confident building pipelines, generating leads and managing negotiations through to contract completion
