Client Overview

My client works within the manufacture of equipment and they are looking to take on a Business Development Manager on a permanent basis.

Required Attributes
  • Previous Business Development Management experience in a similar technical engineering environment (preferably with capital equipment)
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Business or a similar subject ideally
  • Exposure to the Process, Special Purpose Machinery or Pharmaceutical sectors would be beneficial
  • Very familiar with the whole BD process
  • Confident pitching engineering solutions and the service to third parties
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Good appreciation of mechanical and electrical engineering and system integration
  • Computer literate; proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong customer relationship building skills
  • Great commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Able to organise own workload
Business Development Manager Role Involvement
  • Driving business and sales growth for a reputable company

  • Maintaining and improving all client relationships
  • Monitoring market trends for market and strategy development
  • Reporting to the Head of Business Development
