Business Development Manager – Garage Management Software & Payments
Garage Data Systems (GDS) is a leading provider of garage management software, supporting independent workshops across the UK and Ireland. Part of the ClearCourse group, GDS is entering an exciting growth phase as we evolve from our established desktop platform to a new cloud‑based solution, alongside Garage Pay opening, our integrated payments offering.
To support this next stage of growth, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager focused on new‑logo acquisition to help expand GDS’s presence across the automotive aftermarket.
This is a remote, new‑business sales role focused on winning new garage customers across the UK and Ireland, with regular travel for face‑to‑face meetings, demonstrations, and industry events.
You will be responsible for selling GDS’s full product suite, including Version 6 desktop, our next‑generation cloud platform, and uiter Garage Pay. The role carries clear monthly and quarterly sales targets and plays a direct role in delivering GDS’s commercial growth strategy.
Identifying and engaging independent garages, repair centres, workshop managers and business owners across the automotive aftermarket.
Generating new opportunities through targeted outreach, qualification and presentation of GDS’s solutions.
Delivering product demonstrations and ROI pitches to selected prospects.
Managing a pipeline of prospects, closing new accounts, and achieving sales targets.
Collaborating with marketing, product and support teams to refine messaging and go‑to‑market strategy.
