This role is based in our office 5 Howick Place London

We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team and drive growth in the FinTech sector. You’ll identify new business opportunities, build valuable client relationships and contribute to our strategic direction.

Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential clients and business opportunities within the FinTech industry
  • Help develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including agencies, vendors and sponsors
  • Research and identify potential clients for awards shows throughout the year
  • Create compelling proposals and pitches for prospective clients in collaboration with marketing and sales teams
  • Develop relationships with potential customer groups in FinTech and Financial Services industries
  • Network and generate leads at industry events and conferences
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to spot opportunities for innovation and growth
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years experience in business development, preferably in publishing or events
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and negotiation techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (like Salesforce)
  • Independent working style while thriving in a team environment
  • Flexibility to travel and attend events as needed
