Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Business Change Analyst to support clinical system implementations in Shrewsbury. You will analyze clinical workflows, develop standardized procedures, and liaise with various stakeholders during the implementation process. The ideal candidate will have experience in resolving complex digital issues and strong communication skills to negotiate changes with clinicians and managers. This role includes providing support during the go-live phase of projects.

Job description
Job purpose

As a Business Change Analyst assigned to Clinical system implementations, you will be responsible for the analysis and review of processes and systems, identifying the impact of change and supporting the affected teams to prepare for and through the implementation. Reporting to the Business Change Manager you will work with stakeholders across impacted ICs organisations to deliver the business change workstreams objectives.

Key responsibilities
  • To be responsible for undertaking analysis of current and complex clinical and operational workflows/clinical practices
  • To create As Is and To Be process maps to a high standard, using the approved templates and approach
  • To investigate and resolve complex digital queries where there a potential number of options in terms of resolution
  • Meet with various stakeholders and users to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise regarding, complex technical information issues/problems and changes to working practices/business processes. Make recommendations from a number of options where appropriate.
  • Where limitations of the systems are identified liaise with 3rd party software specialists to identify different solutions to bridge the limitations.
  • Following your analysis of users' requirements, document the design and decisions, including business process changes, liaising with system suppliers and configuration workstream to configure systems to demonstrate options to deliver the requirements and benefits.
  • To create Standard Operating Procedure to a high standard, using the approved template
  • Create the operational impact assessment and support the impacted teams to create actions plans to mitigate the impact of the change.
  • Undertake gap and operational impact analyses that contribute to process mapping and organisational readiness for digital deployments
  • Responsible for negotiating with clinicians, clinical support disciplines, managers and users the processes identified and areas requiring change,
  • Build and maintain relationships with several key stakeholders across the ICs
  • Support the Change Agents to prepare for the change.
  • Support to other workstreams particularly Configuration, Integration, Testing and Training as directed
  • Provide onsite support during go live, which may include out of hours support.
