Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Business Architect for a hybrid role based in Manchester. The successful candidate will lead the development of operating models, assess business capabilities, and support an ERP transformation programme. Ideal candidates should possess substantial experience in business architecture, particularly with Oracle Cloud ERP projects, and be adept at engaging with stakeholders. This position is initially for a duration of 6 months with an attractive rate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business architecture, including capability modelling and operating model design.
• Strong background delivering large-scale Oracle Cloud ERP projects.
• Knowledge of embedding GenAI/agentic AI in business processes.

We're seeking an experienced Business Architect to join a major ERP transformation programme. You will shape operating models, map business capabilities, and define services that enable effective decision-making and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document operating models, business capabilities, and service maps.
• Assess current vs. future processes and identify gaps, risks, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, business analysts, IT teams, and external delivery partners.
• Ensure AI technologies (including GenAI and agentic AI) are embedded into processes from the outset.
• Provide assurance that all designs meet governance and strategic objectives.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in business architecture, including capability modelling and operating model design.
