An exciting opportunity to join Hampshire County Council’s Services for Young Children team and help shape early years education across the county. This key position supports the delivery of over £160 million in government funding to early years providers, ensuring Hampshire meets its statutory duties for children aged 0–5.
We’re seeking a motivated and detail-focused Business and Administration Manager to lead our central administration team.
You’ll oversee the distribution of early education funding to around 1,200 providers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness amid expanding entitlements. The team also supports colleagues working in provider improvement, inclusion, and business development contributing to Hampshire’s high provider Ofsted ratings.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex operations in a fast-paced environment.
