Overview

We’re on an exciting modernisation and transformation journey at Morrisons, and our Technology teams are right at the heart of it. Together, we’re improving how technology is used across the business and how we deliver it, making things easier for our colleagues and better for our customers.

We’re now looking for a Business Analyst to join our Strategic Supply Chain team, who are responsible for transforming our end-to-end Supply Chain.

In this role, you’ll:

• Work with the business to understand goals, functions and processes, documenting requirements and translating them into structured epics and user stories aligned to product roadmaps.
• Support both tactical decision making and the definition of long-term strategic plans.
• Partner closely with product managers, internal stakeholders and external partners to design and deliver improvements to our Retail technology stack.
• Advise on requirements management, ensuring requirements are clearly captured, agreed and reflected in project and product plans.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance across operations and services, leading the analysis, design and implementation of business changes.
• Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, clarifying needs, managing expectations and focusing on user and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with our BA community to share best practice, learnings and ideas that help drive innovation across Morrisons.
• Contribute to test case preparation and review, ensuring end-to-end coverage of solutions and technology stacks.

About you

You’ll be a curious, proactive and collaborative Business Analyst who’s passionate about making a difference for colleagues and customers alike.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a large, fast-paced organisation (retail and/or supply chain experience would be a bonus).
• Strong knowledge of the full project lifecycle across both large and small projects.
• A genuine passion for retail and customer experience, with awareness of industry trends and competitor activity.
• A broad business perspective, not just a single function, with the ability to connect the dots.
• An innovative, inquisitive mindset and a natural flair for problem solving.
• Resourcefulness, creativity and the confidence to challenge the status quo.
• Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills, with credibility at all levels.
