Business Analyst – Product Development

Hayward Hawk are exclusively recruiting for a Business Analyst with strong experience in product development to join a fast-paced, Agile team.

You’ll work closely with product managers, developers, designers, and stakeholders to turn business needs into clear requirements and deliver high-quality features that align with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and translate requirements into clear user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to refine backlogs, plan sprints, and deliver product roadmaps.
• Break down complex requirements into actionable tasks for delivery.
• Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and UAT.
• Collaborate with UX teams to ensure requirements translate into effective UI/UX.
• Provide updates, reports, and support release planning with delivery managers.
• Lead requirements workshops, capturing business processes, workflows, and system mapping.
• Act as a point of contact for clarifications, ensuring blockers are resolved quickly.
• Analyse product performance and feedback to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

Essential:

• 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner/Analyst, or similar role in a software environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Agile delivery experience and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable:

• 4+ years’ experience in technology or software development.
• Exposure to life sciences, healthcare, or regulated industries.
• CSPO or similar Agile certification.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, LucidChart, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, or software compliance frameworks.
