If you have exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills and want to be a part of an organisation that values and recognises your hard work, where you'll have access to ongoing training and support, then join Elysium Healthcare as a Business Analyst on a fixed term basis covering maternity leave.

As you work 37.5 hours a week, you will enjoy the combination of working from home and visiting sites across England and Wales as you deliver detailed analysis specifications and documented processes that will address the business's challenges.

You will be responsible for providing updates and action plans on how you will approach solutions for the areas that require improvements at sites.

You will typically work on a number of projects simultaneously; assignments will vary in scale and complexity resulting in assignments that vary from a small number of weeks to a number of months in duration. This is a 'full-lifecycle' role with possible involvement from business case development to operational review, via requirements, design, development, test and implementation.

This role will involve the mentoring/coaching of project teams in the role of a Business Analyst, as well as leading Business Analysis work streams on smaller projects.

As a Business Analyst you will be:
  • Taking appropriate action where concerns are identified.
  • Acting in a way that safeguards the well-being and interests of all service users, employees and visitors.
  • Ensuring the confidentiality, security and accuracy of data and information and compliance with Regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.
  • Supporting the delivery of evidence based patient care and treatment.
  • Ensuring that any relevant training is undertaken and supervision is used appropriately.
To be successful in the role, you will:
  • Be able to utilise office software packages to an intermediate or higher level. In particular MS Word, Project and Excel
  • Be highly organised, with the ability to work to agreed goals, in a self-directed and professional manner
  • Have the ability to plan, document and prioritise own workload, in a proactive manner
  • Demonstrable excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to negotiate successful outcomes with stakeholders
  • Be experienced in influencing and negotiation skills including critical questioning and innovative thinking.
  • Be able to act as an effective advocate for the work
  • Have facilitation skills
  • Have the ability to be an active listener and to tailor communication to the audience
  • Have experience of handling and escalating conflict and problems
  • Have experience of coaching/mentoring others
