Overall purpose of the role

Are you an experienced Agile Business Analyst with a passion for crafting seamless digital journeys? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team within the Direct Investing Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the implementation of a new pension product, enhancing the digital onboarding experience for our clients.

The Role:

You'll be embedded within our onboarding squad, supporting the Smart Investor product. Your focus will be on understanding existing onboarding processes, creating user stories and acceptance criteria and collaborating closely with product owners and development squads. This is a chance to apply your expertise in a fast-paced, agile environment, making a tangible impact on our client experience.

Key Accountabilities:

• Conducting in-depth analysis of existing onboarding processes and requirements
• Translating business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
• Working closely with the Product Owner to define and refine product backlogs
• Collaborating with development teams to clarify requirements and provide ongoing support
• Identifying and overcoming challenges, demonstrating a self-directed approach
• Contributing to a positive and dynamic team environment

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as an Agile Business Analyst, ideally within digital journey building (app/online/website based)
• A strong ability to quickly learn and adapt, diving into existing documentation (Confluence, Jira) to grasp complex processes
• Experience in creating clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria
• Understanding of back-end solutions, APIs and their role in digital applications
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams, including remote and third-party vendors
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
