Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Royal Tunbridge Wells (Hybrid Working Available)

Role

As a Business Analyst, you will act as the critical link between business needs and technical delivery for our Odoo ERP platform and other IT platforms. Your role will involve translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable specifications for development teams. You will play a key part in shaping process improvements, ensuring system enhancements align with strategic objectives, and supporting the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation; Engage with stakeholders to capture detailed business requirements for IT system enhancements and new features.
  • Process Mapping & Analysis; Document current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design optimized future-state processes.
  • Feasibility & Alignment; Collaborate with the Product Owner and external Business Analyst to validate technical feasibility and prioritize requirements.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance; Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring delivered functionality meets documented requirements and business expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement; Recommend process and system improvements based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo experience highly desirable).
  • Understanding of Agile delivery practices and working within cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mind-set with attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
Desirable (nice to have)
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) for data visualization
  • Knowledge of API integrations and connecting ERP systems with third-party applications.
  • Familiarity with Python or basic scripting for ERP integrations
  • Odoo Certification or hands-on experience with Odoo customization and module configuration in a previous role
