Job summary

Job description

A vacancy exists in the Improvement, Performance and Quality Team of Children, Young People and Family Services.

The post will support the service and its partners, for example schools and settings, in maintaining a high level of intelligence relating to key priority areas. This includes the identification of trends and gaps in performance and demographic data and the collection, validation and analysis of child / pupil based data.

The post forms part of a virtual performance team in the delivery of outcomes oriented to services which promote children and young peoples’ health, safety, achievement, enjoyment, contribution and economic well being within the City of Kingston upon Hull.

You will work to the Principal Manager (Education, Lifelong Learning and Life Chances), contributing to the outputs of a dynamic and responsive team and have close professional working relationships with members of other teams including Early Years, Health and Children’s Social Care.

You should have experience in electronic methods of data aggregation and manipulation, together with experience of working within an operational support role, ideally within Children, Young People and Family Services.

You will need to have a supportive and enabling approach to working with service providers and be able to engage with senior managers within both the service and its partners.
