Overview

Roc Search Tech are urgently seeking a Business Analyst for a 9 month contract to work for our FinTech client in London, working on a project for their offshore banking client. 9 months, 5 days a week. Start: ASAP. Outside IR35. Remote - with fortnightly travel client site and London (for first 3 months of the project only).

Responsibilities
  • Support the pre-project phase of a strategic initiative assessing the viability of a new FX platform for the banking customer.
  • Capture, structure, and validate business requirements across multiple stakeholders (banking, compliance, technology, regulators).
  • Ensure foundational elements, from customer journeys to regulatory considerations, are clearly defined and documented.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, ideally with exposure to FX, payments, or regulatory change.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, onboarding (KYC/CDD), and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, structured documentation.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and requirements management tools.
  • Experience working across multi-jurisdictional environments.
  • Knowledge of Murex (FX), SAP and other banking systems for the FX product set is desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, at all levels.
