Job description

Do you thrive on solving complex business challenges and shaping solutions that deliver real impact? Can you balance the demands of senior stakeholders, competing priorities, and evolving requirements while ensuring clarity and precision at every stage? We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team at a pivotal time of growth. Our Global Delivery function here at ABF BTS (ABF Business Technology Services) is evolving, and as part of this, we've launched PMaaS (Project Management as a Service). An internal consultancy that provides skills in project management to major business and technology initiatives across the ABF Group. In this role, you'll be embedded in high‑value projects, often with a financial or treasury focus where you'll manage capturing, challenging, and translating business needs into actionable solutions. You'll work alongside senior stakeholders to shape business cases, drive decision‑making, and ensure delivery of initiatives that make a measurable difference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct business analysis workstreams across strategic projects and programmes, often with a financial or treasury focus.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to capture, challenge, and prioritise complex business requirements.
  • Shape and construct robust business cases, ensuring benefits are clearly defined, measurable, and achievable.
  • Support solution design and validation, ensuring requirements are translated effectively into functional and non‑functional outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions to align objectives and resolve competing priorities.
  • Oversee requirements change management, ensuring evolving needs are managed without compromising delivery.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practice across the PMaaS community.
  • Engage with project teams on testing, readiness, and implementation activities, ensuring solutions are seamlessly integrated.
Key Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst working on large‑scale business change or technology programmes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and present compelling business cases, including financial modelling.
  • Skill in business process analysis and design, with knowledge of industry‑standard BA methodologies and tools.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide, negotiate, and build trusted relationships at senior levels.
  • Effective communication and facilitation skills, capable of simplifying complexity for diverse audiences.
  • Experience supporting junior colleagues, contributing to team growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple projects, adapting quickly to new domains and challenges.
