Are you an HGV Driver looking for a new challenge working in the animal feed industry? We’re on the lookout for dedicated, professional drivers to join our expanding team at Carr’s Billington as an HGV Bulk Blower Driver and Operator. THE JOB

You’ll be at the heart of our operations, delivering animal feed to our valued customers. This is more than just a driving job – it’s about being a key player in our supply chain, offering more variety than just motorway driving, and taking on a new challenge that involves operating specialist bulk blowing vehicles in some of our most scenic rural areas.

What you’ll do:
  • Operate HGV vehicles to deliver and collect animal feed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent our brand.
  • Ensure full compliance with transport laws and safety standards.
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained in line with company procedures and legal obligations to achieve optimal fleet performance and efficiency.
  • Support the team with flexibility and a proactive attitude.
The work pattern:

We understand the importance of work‑life balance and have structured our working pattern to reflect the seasonal nature of our industry. The number of working days may vary throughout the year, but your hours are annualised, meaning your salary is spread evenly across 12 months.

Skills, Experience And Qualities Required
  • LGV Licence (Essential) (Class 1 desirable)
  • Driver CPC (essential)
  • Experience in agriculture or animal feed delivery (desirable)
  • A flexible, can‑do approach to work.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly.
