Overview

Building Surveyor (Planned Works) starting salary £41,992pa with potential progression to £45,089pa inclusive on achieving designated skills and experience. 37 hours per week (hybrid working). Responsibilities
  • Deliver the planned and cyclical investment programmes for the housing and commercial stock in line with agreed standards.
  • Work alongside our contractors and consultants and hold them to account for their performance.
  • Provide technical advice, develop scopes of work and specifications on various projects.
  • Liaise with customers on their requirements and ensure customer-focused outcomes.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
  • Formally qualified in Building Studies, with substantial experience diagnosing building faults and providing cost-effective solutions.
  • Ability to identify repairs, draw up specifications, make technical decisions and solve complex problems.
  • Knowledge of building standards and a commitment to delivering customer-focused outcomes.
  • Ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential.
