Hybrid - Office based in Exeter

Are you an MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor looking for a role that grants responsibility and autonomy to work independently for a business that will respect you as a technical expert?

This leading property consultancy, established over 30 years ago, delivers expert valuation, surveying, and property management services across the South West. With steady growth and multiple offices, they have built a strong regional presence, supporting clients from private individuals to major corporations across both commercial and residential sectors.

In this role, you will undertake detailed inspections and prepare comprehensive dilapidation reports across commercial properties, using Leica equipment to capture and process your own data. You will liaise with landlords, tenants, and legal representatives to provide clear, evidence-based advice, negotiate fair settlements, and ensure compliance with RICS standards and current legislation. Covering a patch across Devon, Somerset, Dorset, and Wiltshire this role runs Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:30.

This role would suit an MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor with experience in dilapidations, looking for a flexible and autonomous position within a forward-thinking consultancy. The Role:
  • Conduct detailed inspections and prepare dilapidation reports on commercial properties

Monday-Friday (9AM-5:30PM)

The Person:
  • MRICS qualified (Essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willing to travel across Devon, Somerset, Dorset, and Wiltshire
  • Commutable to Exeter office
