Overview

Do you want to take on varied projects and develop your surveying experience? Ready to play a key role in keeping Portsmouth's housing stock safe and well-maintained? We're looking for a Building Surveyor to join the Building Repairs Team at Portsmouth City Council.

Responsibilities

• Surveying and assessing housing stock & community assets
• Managing repairs projects (£15k-£50k) from re-roofing to fire upgrades
• Supporting the Building Repairs Manager & helping develop apprentices
• Liaising with residents, councillors & stakeholders
• Balancing site-based work with office time
