Surveyor

Salary: £46,000 | Hours: 37/week | Location: Hampshire

We're after a hands-on Building ( repairs) Surveyor to join our team, inspecting homes, spotting defects, and delivering practical solutions. You'll manage repairs, planned, minor, and support projects from start to finish.

Day-to-day:
  • Inspect properties and assess repairs or disrepair issues.
  • Prepare technical reports and schedules of work.
  • Work with trades, contractors, and internal teams to make sure jobs are done right.
  • Approve and monitor adaptations like Disabled Facility Grants.
  • Support planned maintenance programmes and provide practical advice.
  • Deliver excellent customer service when dealing with queries or complaints.
You’ll need:
  • Experience in building surveying
  • HND/HNC, or equivalent in Building Surveying or construction-related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office; maintenance software experience is a plus.
