Overview

Building Surveyor – Somerset (Contract)

Hours: 8am-5pm

Rate: £27 - £32 per hour

We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a social housing maintenance company, who are looking for Building Surveyorsbased in Somerset.

Day to Day duties
  • Carry out technical planned maintenance surveys in a social housing setting
  • Provide technical advice and ensure compliance with building regulations and health & safety requirements
  • Build strong working relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal teams
  • Write up technical reports, giving recommendations for completing works
Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)
  • Have experience carrying out Kitchen, Bathroom, roofing, window and cyclical maintenance surveys in a social housing setting
  • Relevant qualifications / experience in building surveying
  • Knowledge of upcoming legislations surrounding the building surveying industry
