The Role

We are looking for an experienced Building Services Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join a busy education estate in London. You will be responsible for both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, fans, chillers, plant rooms, and plumbing. The role includes diagnosing and repairing faults, supporting catering equipment, supervising contractors, and ensuring full compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations.

What We're Looking For
  • City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Heating & Ventilation / Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in HVAC, boilers, chillers, and plant maintenance
  • Good electrical knowledge and plumbing/pipe fitting skills
  • Strong record-keeping and compliance awareness
  • Previous experience in colleges, universities, or large estates highly desirable
