A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work closely with a hearing‑impaired pupil. This role requires a good understanding of British Sign Language (BSL) to support the child’s communication and learning within the classroom environment.

The Role

You will provide one‑to‑one support to a primary‑aged pupil with hearing impairment, helping them access the curriculum and engage fully with school life. The ideal candidate will have a BSL qualification (Level 3 desirable) and experience working with children with SEN and hearing needs. You will support communication by translating spoken language into BSL and adapting learning materials to meet the child’s needs.
