FLOOR MANAGER, BREAKFAST

Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is looking for a Floor Manager to join our iconic Breakfast Restaurant team.

Responsibilities
  • As a Floor Manager at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, you will be responsible for:
  • Supporting the Breakfast Manager and Assistant Manager during operations, ensuring a professional, friendly and stylish service is maintained by staff at all times.
  • Encouraging and coaching the department, developing teamwork and working practices to deliver excellent standards.
  • Conducting departmental induction for new starters.
  • Demonstrating a full and complete knowledge of the products serviced in Breakfast, taking ownership and displaying leadership in the restaurant.
  • Handling guest complaints, following through on actions to meet full guest satisfaction.

As a Floor Manager, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shifts begin at 5:30am (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.

To be a successful Floor Manager candidate, you must have previous supervisory/management experience in a food and beverage setting. You will be an enthusiastic leader, with excellent organisational skills and a passion for hospitality.
