Overview

Maternity Cover - A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our team at the Crossways Federation as Breakfast Club Supervisor. This post will commence November 3rd 2025 (subject to checks) and will end on the postholder's return.

We are looking for someone who will enjoy working with children and who will be an enthusiastic, positive and proactive member of the Breakfast Club team.

  • Be passionate about making a difference to every child.
  • Value a team working approach and be keen to contribute and share their skills with colleagues
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers, children, governors and the local and wider community.
  • Be punctual and reliable
Main Responsibilities
  • The post holder will be responsible for setting up of the venue each day.
  • Assist with the serving of breakfast as appropriate.
  • Help to create a welcoming and supportive environment for the members of the club.
  • Be responsible for the management of the behaviour of members of the club.
  • The Post Holder will be responsible for tidying of the venue after use and ensure the secure storage of resources and equipment used.
  • Administering basic first aid and recording incidents in the first aid book as appropriate and provide necessary correspondence to the parent/carer.
  • Ensure that the setting is effectively resourced
