Horley Infant School are looking for a committed, reliable and enthusiastic team player to join our existing team of play workers in our successful after-school club. This is a casual supply role and would be ideal for someone who may be looking for ad hoc hours subject to the operational needs of the school. Working hours are dependent on the type/role of cover required, and may include breakfast club hours commencing at 7.15/7.30am until 9am and after school club hours commencing at 3pm until 5.00/6.00pm. Horley Infant School has a positive local reputation whereby we live by our vision and values of “embracing and nurturing the individual” and “inspiring all to achieve”. We pride ourselves on giving a family feel to our school, even though we have nearly 270 children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2. Our before school and after school club has an excellent reputation and, as such, we need to expand our team. In our latest Staff Wellbeing Survey, our school staff reported an 11% greater level of job satisfaction than the national benchmark. Maybe this could be your moment to join us?
The closing date for applications is Monday 5 January 2026 at 9am. Candidates should apply via the Greensand Multi Academy Trust's My New Term portal, accessible via the Trust website. Applications will be considered upon receipt and we reserve the right to appoint someone sooner than this if we identify a suitable candidate. You are therefore encouraged to apply for the role as soon as possible.
We want to attract the broadest range of talented people to be part of our Trust. We strive to create a diverse and inclusive environment and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If you need any specific support or require alternative formats, please contact us.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful candidate will be required to have an enhanced DBS check and an overseas criminal records check if you have lived or travelled outside the UK for more than 3 months in the last 10 years. Shortlisted candidates will also be subject to online check in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
