Job description

Are you ready to take ownership of your career? This unique Branch Manager opportunity in an ambitious family‑owned property group offers the potential to step up to branch management and in time progress to equity opportunities and beyond.

We're searching for an experienced and proactive residential sales professional who's interested in more than just another job. Here, your initiative will be recognised and backed, you'll be trusted to deliver, and your input will have a visible impact on the bottom line.

About the role :

You’ll have the autonomy to build and develop your branch, using your entrepreneurial drive and strategic thinking to drive sustained growth in an established market.

Strong back office and sales progression support will let you focus on winning new instructions and then building and leading your team.

This is a unique opportunity to build your own business within a successful property group, and with the support and investment of an ambitious owner.

Very competitive and uncapped commission is on offer from the start, and in time there’s potential for profit‑share and equity opportunities.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, growth‑focused wider group, leading a branch with a strong reputation and a clear plan for the future.

This role is an ideal next step if you’re a successful Senior Sales Negotiator, Sales Valuer, or Assistant Branch Manager feeling constrained and hitting a career ceiling in a larger estate agency. You’ll combine the hands‑on business development you know and love with the leadership responsibilities you’re ready to embrace.

What we’re looking for in a Branch Manager :

Proven track record of success in residential property sales, ideally with extensive experience as a Sales Negotiator, Sales Valuer, Lister, or Assistant Branch Manager.

Demonstrated expertise in winning new instructions through proactive outreach and business development.

Leadership capability and potential – it’s not essential to have managed a team previously as you’ll be supported as you develop this experience.

Entrepreneurial drive with a systematic, commercial mindset

Self‑driven and highly motivated to succeed commercially, whether through personal sales targets or team performance and branch profitability.

Strong negotiation skills and experience in securing compromise between parties, with a track record of closing deals.

A full driving licence is required for this role. Local knowledge would be advantageous but not essential – we’re also interested to hear from candidates open to relocating to the area as part of this career move.

This is a full‑time, office‑based role (Surrey) with an initial requirement to work most Saturdays.
