Branch Director / Senior Branch Manager – Trade, Merchant & Distribution Sector

Location: North West

Are you an experienced Branch Director, Senior Branch Manager or General Manager looking for your next leadership challenge?

This is a fantastic outstanding opportunity to lead a large branch within the trade and distribution sector. With full P&L responsibility and the autonomy to shape your branch’s strategy, this is your chance to make a real impact in a fast‑paced, professional environment.

About the Role
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a large, high‑performing team
  • Drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Build long‑term customer relationships across the West Midlands
  • Take ownership of the branch’s performance—operationally and financially
  • Champion change, health & safety, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For

You are an experienced leader who thrives in a results‑driven, customer‑focused setting.

  • A passion to succeed and grow the business
  • Proven ability to drive sales through your team
  • Strong leadership and people development skills
  • Commercial acumen with full P&L accountability experience
  • Knowledge of current H&S legislation and operational best practices
  • A track record of managing large teams and high‑turnover branches (ideally £10m+)
  • Background in trade, distribution, or high‑volume retail (DIY, merchanting, etc.)
