F&S Energy are a rapidly growing electricity supply company focussing on the renewable energy sector and the changing energy markets.

This position is an excellent opportunity with prospects for career progression.

The annual salary is £25,000 to £30,000 full time 9am to 5:30pm Monday – Friday, depending on experience, plus company pension. The role is based in the city of Chelmsford.

The ideal candidate will have ambition to further their career as the company grows and have an interest in the renewable energy markets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Use of Sage 50 including VAT returns and inputting supplier invoices.
  • Reconcile incomes and expenses to the bank statements.
  • Reconcile the credit card to bank payments.
  • Entry and upload of backing sheets for the purpose of billing.
  • Dealing with invoice queries from customers and suppliers.
  • Maintaining supplier costs and logs.
  • Paying in cheques.
  • Maintenance of the asset register.
  • Developing efficient practices within the company.
  • Working with the external accountant to aid production of management accounts.
Skills
  • Bookkeeping qualification at either AAT level 2 or 3.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and attention to detail is essential.
  • Good with numbers and able to work both in a team environment and independently at times.
  • Adapted to meeting deadlines and working under pressure.
