Overview

BOOKKEEPER

POSITION : Bookkeeper

LOCATION : Beverley

SALARY AND BENEFITS : £30-33k , 25 days holiday + BH's + Pension

THE ROLE : This is a great opportunity for a finance professional to join this established business in the construction sector. This is a really varied role and the successful candidate will play a key part in the smooth running of the business. Ideally candidates will have some experience in the Construction or Manufacturing sector. It would be beneficial if candidates held at least AAT Level 3. The role is office based working 8.30 - 4.30 Monday to Thursday and 8.30 - 3.30 on a Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Good experience with Xero
  • Experience doing weekly subcontractor payments/payroll
  • Knowledge of CIS (only basic knowledge required)
  • Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger experience
  • Confident with accurate invoicing
  • Experience dealing with many different payment portals/platforms
  • Experience creating/managing payment applications
  • General experience of subcontractors
  • Good receipt tracking
  • Experience using expense tracking software
  • Confident working alone without regular management intervention
  • Experience chasing debtors
  • Cash flow forecasting and monitoring
