Overview

An established family run business with ambitious growth plans are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team.

This is a varied position that goes beyond traditional bookkeeping. Whilst accounting is the core focus, the successful candidate will have additional responsibilities for wider office administration and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Raise and manage purchase orders
  • Reconcile bank transactions, purchase invoices, and employee expenses
  • Create board packs and financial reports
  • Assist in P&L budget creation
  • Send customer statements and manage a credit controller
  • Support ISO9001 documentation and audits
  • Draft and maintain employment contracts
Requirements
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or finance administration (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, QBE)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working across departments and managing varied tasks
  • Experience with ISO standards and HR documentation is a plus
